Question: My ford focus is making a horrible sound
Recently the car starting making a weird noise. Coming from the front from the tire it was like something was rubbing against something and only did it when driving. So we had our brakes replaced. After that it got WORSE and seems to be coming from the back wheels now, and the noise is continuous and is really loud. It sounds like straight metal to metal. It does it when driving, and braking. Only time it doesn't is when in reverse. I noticed yesterday and today that the back wheels almost swerve in their own direction and it really scared me. I was looking at the back tires today and it seems the large metal hub behind the driver side wheel is being grinded down on the edges and was really hot to touch. I checked the other side and it wasn't grinded down or even warm. I'm really worried my car is just going to break or worse and put me in danger..
